Application Case of Explosion-Proof Trackless Rubber-Tired Vehicles for Mining
This plan covers Selection and configuration, explosion-proof safety, power system, intelligent upgrades, operations and maintenance management, compliance certification Six core modules, tailored to the underground coal‑mine environment characterized by gas and coal‑dust explosions, balance safety, efficiency, and environmental sustainability, and can be implemented directly.
1. Core Positioning
Specifically designed for underground coal mines Auxiliary transportation The design covers scenarios such as personnel transport, material handling, equipment inspection, and emergency command, complies with mandatory standards including the “Coal Mine Safety Regulations” and MT/T 1199-2023, and is equipped with… Explosion-proof, slip-resistant, collision-proof, low-emission, highly reliable Characteristics.
2. Applicable Scenarios
- Tunnel environment: Gas classification I/II, coal-dust explosion hazard zone; air velocity ≥ 0.25 m/s; maximum gradient ≤ 14°.
- Functional requirements: passenger transport (≤9 persons), material transport (payload 5–20 tons), and multi‑functionality (loading/attachment, towing, and command).
- Special requirements: long-distance transportation, complex road conditions, intelligent dispatching, and zero-emission operations.
Explosion-proof certification : The complete vehicle and key components (motor, diesel engine, control box) must obtain MA/KC Mine Safety Mark , with an explosion-proof rating of at least Ex dⅠMb, compliant with GB 3836-2010 and MT/T 1199-2023 standards.
Electrical Explosion Protection : The cables are flame-retardant and oil-resistant (MT 818 series), and the junction boxes and connectors are fully explosion-proof, with no exposed sources of sparks.
Exhaust Gas Explosion Protection : Diesel engines equipped with spark arrestors produce exhaust without open flames; electric and hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles emit no tailpipe emissions, thereby preventing the accumulation of flammable gases.
Environmental Protection The vehicle’s outer shell is fabricated from Q235B steel or higher-grade steel, with an explosion-proof joint gap of ≤0.3 mm and a protection rating of ≥IP54.
Operational Standards : Passenger transport speed ≤ 25 km/h; material transport speed ≤ 40 km/h; following vehicle spacing ≥ 50 m; coasting in neutral gear and entering areas with weak winds are strictly prohibited.
